The Libertarian Party of Florida is pleased to host the most exciting and comprehensive Libertarian Presidential debate yet, featuring two-term New Mexico Gov. Gary Johnson, LP stalwart Lee Wrights, Kiowa Nation member Sgt. R.J. Harris, renowned author and director Bill Still, former Texas LP chair Roger Gary, Private Attorney General Carl Person, and entrepreneur Leroy Saunders.  The debate will be televised live, but don’t miss this chance to be there in person.

Elections will be held for LPF secretary, treasurer, at-large representative, and all regional representatives.  This is your chance to make a difference in the future of the LPF!

Convention Registration will start Friday evening, the Business meeting and Presidential debate will be Saturday, ending with the Dinner on Saturday evening. The cost of the dinner will be $75.00. Vendor tables will also be $75.00 for the weekend. Contact Vicki Kirkland at (407) 841-LP12 to set up your booth!

Sunday morning will be reserved for additional business, the EC meeting and presentations to the delegates by state and local candidates.  If you would like to be a delegate, or would like to submit a motion for consideration, please contact LPF secretary Greg Lennon at secretary@lpf.org.

The manager’s reception with free drinks for all registered guests will be held from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM each evening, a fully cooked breakfast is included, and unlike many hotels, they accommodate smokers, so be sure to indicate whether you want smoking when making your reservation

Mark Hinkle, LP
National Chair will be the Keynote speaker.

Mark Hinkle was elected Chairman of the Libertarian National Committee (LNC) at the 2010 national convention in St. Louis.  Mr. Hinkle joined the Libertarian Party in 1974. He has served ten years on the LNC and has done just about every imaginable volunteer job within the LP.

He served for six years as Chairman of the California LP, during which: state party membership more than tripled; revenue more than tripled; the state party opened an office; the state party hired an Executive Director; and, a record number of Libertarians were elected to California public office via
Project Breakthrough.

Sharon Harris, President of the Advocates for Self-Government willbe the dinner speaker.

Sharon Harris is President of the Advocates for Self-Government, a nonprofit educational organization, founded in 1985, which specializes in libertarian
communication and outreach.  She was one of the three finalists for the National Libertarian Party’s “Thomas Paine Award for Outstanding Libertarian Communicator” – selected by members of the party and presented at the 2000 National Convention
